I graduated from Southern University at New Orleans in 2004 with B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Physics. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2010 with a Ph.D. in Mathematics. From 2010-2013 I was an NSF postdoctoral fellow at the University of Houston. Currently I am a Senior Knowledge Engineer at Reasoning Mind. In addition to being an Alliance mentor, I also serve as a mentor for AWM (the Association for Women in Mathematics).
In my free time I take as many dance classes as I can, cook, and play with my dogs.
