Bio

I'm an assistant professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington. I work on a variety of problems: Methods and software development in machine learning, theory for high dimensional models, clinical trial design, and precision medicine. I also collaborate with scientists at the UW and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center on problems in oncology, immunology, and genomics more broadly. I enjoy working with both graduate and undergraduate students (and helping to advise more generally!).
