I received my PhD from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in May of 2008 and began working at North Carolina State the following fall. I am a Teaching Associate Professor here meaning my position is very teaching focused in a large, mostly research focused department. I help coordinate programs like the TA training for new graduate students, the summer REU program, and the Math Circle in the Triangle, a middle school outreach and enrichment program.
