Bio

Micah B. Milinovich is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Mississippi where he has been a faculty member since 2008. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics under the supervision of Professor of Steven M. Gonek from the University of Rochester. His area of expertise is number theory, in particular the theory of the Riemann zeta-function and other L-functions, and the distribution of the primes. Before attending graduate school, he spent a short time teaching middle school mathematics in the New York City public school system in Long Island City, Queens.
