Bio
(Ph.D., Princeton University, 2003) My broad area is Algebraic Geometry, the subject which studies the solution sets of polynomial equations ("algebraic spaces"). Most of my current work centers on Hodge theory, which describes the influence of integrals and differential equations on the shape of these algebraic spaces, and plays a special role in their relation to string theory and number theory.
