Originally from Haiti, I moved to New York after high school. I graduated magna cum laude from CUNY-Baruch College with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. I got my PhD in mathematics at the University of Iowa in 2002. Since then, I have been a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at Kean University in New Jersey.
