probability and stochastic processes
Bio
I am a Professor of Mathematics at Oregon State University. My research involves probability theory and its applications to flow and dispersion phenomena.
Research Interests: As a mathematical area, probability and stochastic processes enjoy a very broad array of applications. Areas of most recent interest to me involve diffusion in heterogeneous media defined by discontinuous dispersion rates, as well as multiplicative branching cascade models that arise in the study of polymers, turbulence, and basic equations governing fluid flow.
