Bio
Caroline Turnage-Butterbaugh received a B.A. in mathematics and French from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC in 2006. She then earned an M.A. in mathematics from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC in 2008. There she wrote a thesis in elementary number theory under the direction of Fredric T. Howard. After a year teaching upper school mathematics at the Pembroke Hill School in Kansas City, MO, she returned to graduate school at the University of Mississippi. There she studied analytic number theory under the supervision of Micah B. Milinovich. She graduated in May 2014.
