I am interested in mathematical modeling with emphasis on social networks, ecology, epidemiology, immunology, and demography. Validation against empirical data is something I try to implement in my research projects. Uncertainty analysis and quantification, sensitivity analysis, and simulation are also core aspects of my research program. Recent projects include: social networks in game theory; optimal treatment schedule for hepatitis C virus infection; mathematical demography in the context of college enrollment.
