I am currently an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Florida A&M University. I also hold a joint appointment in the Industrial Engineering Department at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.
I have served as the Principal Investigator on several grants doing research on the Chemical Vapor Infiltration Process and the Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding Process for the manufacturing of high performance ceramic composites. I teach courses in mathematics from an axiomatic approach similar to the New Math Movement. It is from this point of view that I am writing a book for a two semester college level course on pre-calculus mathematics.
