Bio

Dr. Anahit Galstyan received her M.S in Mathematics in 1985 and Candidate of Science in Pure Mathematics in 1992 from Yerevan State University, Armenia. She received her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 2005 from University of Cincinnati, OH. She is currently Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Her main field of interest includes Partial Differential Equations (linear and nonlinear), Mathematical Cosmology, and Microlocal Analysis.
