The Department of Statistical Science at Baylor University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position starting in Fall 2025 at either the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The successful applicant will join our dynamic faculty in helping to advance our core mission to provide quality statistics instruction at all levels, to make significant contributions to the discovery and dissemination of statistical knowledge, and to develop, within a Christian environment, ethical scholars, skilled professionals, and educated leaders who are sensitive to the needs of society. Faculty in the Department are supportive and eager to collaborate.

Qualifications
• Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in statistics or a related discipline by the time of the appointment.
• Candidates with demonstrated interests and accomplishments in data science and/or biostatistics are especially encouraged to apply.
• Candidates should have a sustained record of research excellence and demonstrate the potential for continuing research productivity.
• Candidates for the associate professor rank must have research and scholarly accomplishments commensurate with an appointment for an advanced rank.
• Successful candidates will have the ability and interest to teach undergraduate and graduate students, provide research mentorship to students in our doctoral program.
• This position is expected to establish and maintain external funding to support the program of research at a level consistent with those at peer R1 institutions.
