The Department of Biostatistics at the University of Iowa offers financial aid in the form of graduate assistantships (GA). View the current stipend and tuition scholarship information.
For 2018-19, an academic year the GA salary is $19,225; if appointed through summer the salary is $ 23,489. A GA includes a full tuition scholarship and 50% of mandatory fees. The student’s yearly out-of-pocket cost for mandatory fees is ~$520.
