The Department of Mathematics invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professorship in Mathematics to begin in fall 2020. A
PhD should normally be in hand by time of appointment. Special emphasis will be
given to applicants who can support and expand the analysis side of our
curriculum, especially our applied offerings (e.g., probability, differential
equations, operations research, dynamical systems, numerical analysis). The
successful candidate will advise, mentor, teach courses at all levels including
the first-year seminar program. The potential to incorporate undergraduates in
research is desirable.
