The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Missouri—Kansas City seeks applicants for a one-semester Visiting Assistant Professor position for Spring 2020. Responsibilities will include teaching four math or stat courses in Spring 2020 (or equivalent credit hour load)— especially courses for STEM majors such as regression analysis, differential equations, and the calculus sequence—as well as contributing to departmental service.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, or a related field by December 2019. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, and teaching experience demonstrating strong potential for excellent teaching at UMKC. Potential for excellent teaching in a wide variety of courses at all undergraduate levels will be valued.
Full Time/Part Time
This is 1.00 FTE for Spring semester only without benefit.
