Georgia Institute of Technology

Michael Lacey joined the Georgia Tech faculty in 1996. Since then, his research has been recognized by several awards including the Guggenheim and the Simons Foundations. 

He has also been the director of training grants, like VIGRE and MCTP awards from the NSF, which have supported dozens of undergraduates, graduate students and postdocs.  He has advised many undergraduates who went on to leading graduate programs; his PhD students have gone on to academic and industry jobs; and he has mentored more than 10 postdocs.
