I am a professor of mathematics at theUniversity of Texas at Arlington.
My research area is in algebra, with specialization in homological methods for commutative rings and finite dimensional algebras. The problems I tend to work on have their roots in algebraic geometry and representation theory.
I have mentored several undergraduate mathematics students, all of whom have gone on to successful careers in graduate and postgraduate studies at some of our country’s most prestigious universities. I have also advised several graduate students in attaining their Ph.D. degree. Several of these students are women and minorities.
