Mathematics Lecturer Position Announced at University of Pittsburgh

The Department of Mathematics at University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position to begin in August 2020, pending budgetary approval. This is a non-tenure track teaching position.

The initial appointment is for 2 years and the position is renewable for subsequent 3-year terms.

In terms of minimum qualifications, candidates should have earned their Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences or a closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited university or international equivalent by August 2020. We seek excellence in teaching and an interest in innovative instruction. Applicants with experience teaching actuarial math are particularly encouraged to apply.
