Lecturer Position in Department of Mathematics at Towson University

The Jess and Mildred Fisher College of Science and Mathematics invites applications for a fulltime, non-tenure track, 10-month Lecturer position in the Department of Mathematics beginning in August, 2019.

Master’s degree in mathematics or mathematics education is required. A commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a doctorate in mathematics or extensive graduate-level coursework in mathematics.

Teach four 3-credit courses per semester and provide service to the department. A typical teaching assignment will include undergraduate courses offered to STEM majors. The student-to-faculty ratio in these courses is very low; the average class size is smaller than 30 students
