The James T. Laney School of Graduate Studies at Emory University is excited to host our inaugural Learning about Laney: Preview Visitation of Emory University, Laney Graduate School from Sunday, Sept 29th to Tuesday, October 1st, 2019!
Learning about Laney is designed to provide scholars from historically underrepresented groups based on racial and ethnic diversity with an intimate opportunity to learn more about our doctoral programs.
Join us for Emory-specific graduate admissions workshops, conversations with world renowned faculty and their graduate students, and informal social activities. Scholars will also receive advice on submitting a competitive application to graduate programs and learn about the professional and personal development opportunities at Emory and in the city of Atlanta. Lodging, travel and meals will be covered for all Learning about Laney participants. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or undocumented scholars planning to apply for graduate study for the following fall.
To be considered in our selection process, interested students must fill out the brief application form. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Applicants will be notified of decisions by Friday, August 30, 2019.
