Position Overview

The Ohio State University (OSU) College of Public Health is inviting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor in the Division of Biostatistics. All research areas will be considered. We especially welcome scholars whose research enriches or expands on current research being conducted by division and College of Public Health faculty, including (but not limited to) causal inference, clinical trials, survival analysis, infectious diseases, longitudinal data analysis, missing data, spatial modeling, high-dimensional data analysis, genomics, epidemiologic methods, and survey sampling. The division values the full spectrum of research including theoretical and methodological development, computational methods, and applications. The search committee is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of our academic community. This is a nine-month position. Rank and salary will be determined by the candidate’s credentials.

Education and Experience Requirements

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or other doctoral degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline by the start of employment. Applicants must have strong records of peer-reviewed publications and teaching/mentoring that are commensurate with rank.
