Multiple Lecturer Positions Announced at Loyola University Chicago

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University Chicago seeks qualified candidates for three appointments as Lecturer beginning Fall 2025. The successful candidates will be joining a department with over 40 full-time faculty members and over 200 majors across seven undergraduate programs in mathematics, statistics and data science, and three master’s programs. Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidates will teach a range of math courses, primarily lower-level courses that serve non-science students. Teaching may occasionally include upper-level courses that serve our majors and could also include elementary statistics courses. The successful candidates will also engage in professional development activities as well as service at the department level or above.

Minimum Qualifications: The candidate will have a PhD in mathematics or a closely related field at the time of appointment. Candidates for the position must demonstrate clear potential for excellence in teaching and student mentorship. They must be willing to support the mission of Loyola University Chicago and the goals of a Jesuit, Catholic education.
